Join us to greet and welcome the Cuban delegation to the Latin American Studies Association Conference (LASA) to Vancouver!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A free public event featuring 3 Cuban speakers!
All funds raised will help support Cuban delegates during their stay in Vancouver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us to greet and welcome the Cuban delegation to the Latin American Studies Association Conference (LASA) to Vancouver. This special evening event will feature 3 Cuban speakers who will present on a range of topics under the theme \u201cCuba Today: A Revolution in Motion.\u201d The event will also feature a Coast Salish opening, live music, discussion, and a raffle! All funds raised will help support Cuban delegates during their stay in Vancouver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We acknowledge that this event will take place on the unceded and traditional territories of the x\u02b7m\u0259\u03b8k\u02b7\u0259y\u0313\u0259m (Musqueam), S\u1e35wx\u0331w\u00fa7mesh (Squamish), and s\u0259lilw\u0259ta\u026c (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. As we defend Cuba’s right to self-determination, we also stand with Indigenous nations and defend their right to self-determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
