Fernando González Llort is the President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (Norteamérica ICAP), a Member of the National Assembly of People’s Power, and Hero of the Republic of Cuba being one of the Cuban Five counter-terrorism fighters.

David Abdulah is an economist by academic training, involved in the search for and development of a popular and relevant pedagogy; a Labour and Political activist committed to Social Transformation and Justice.

David is a founding member of the political party – the Movement for Social Justice (MSJ) and has been its Political Leader from 2012 to present.

David spent 39 years at the Oilfields Workers’ Trade Union (1977-2016) during which he held a number of positions including the Chief Education & Research Officer; Executive Treasurer and General Secretary; the President of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions and NGO’s (FITUN); and was the Industrial Relations Adviser to the West Indies Players’ Association.
