Dr. Jose Armando Arronte Villamarin is a Cuban Family Physician who led Cuban Missions to Chicago, Jamaica, Egypt & Vietnam. Director of International Organizations for the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP)

Dr. Uriel Ramirez Growing up in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Uriel Ramirez developed a deep passion for public health and medicine early on. His journey led him to the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) in Havana, Cuba, where he pursued his Medical Doctorate. Witnessing the severe health disparities during the 2007 earthquake in Lima, Peru, ignited his dedication to improving healthcare access and quality, especially in underserved regions.

Dr. Abeeku Ricks is a Graduate of Cuba’s Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM). Living and practicing medicine in Georgia.

Margaret Gilpin (a.k.a. Peggy) is on the Board if Global Health Partners and has been involved in Cuba solidarity work since the early 1970’s. In health care, as the President of US-Cuba Health Exchange (US-CHE) for over 30 years she led delegations to the island, arranged scientific and medical interchange and directed an extensive network to supply Cuba with up to date medical publications. Currently she works with the Saving Lives Campaign. NY-NJ Cubasi.

John Waller is a former health center manager who first went to Cuba in 1992 leading a study tour of English health workers. He has spent much of the last 30 years coordinating the sending of medical and other aid to Cuba. This includes containers and ambulances from England and, since moving to the US, multiple IFCO/Pastors for Peace Caravans to Cuba and most recently several Saving Lives Campaign.

Tamara Hansen is the Coordinator of Vancouver Communities in Solidarity with Cuba, a founder of the U.S.-Cuba Normalization Conference, & author of “5 Decades of the Cuban Revolution: the Challenges of an Unwavering Leadership”
